Patricia Ridge Bradley
Patricia Ridge Bradley grew up on the open plains of northwestern Oklahoma in the small town of Enid. Music, drama, and fine arts were emphasized in school, and she excelled in fine art from elementary to high school. She earned a BFA with an emphasis on drawing from Oklahoma State University, then apprenticed with an advertising agency in Tulsa, Oklahoma, where she learned design and illustration. She founded Bradley Studios and enjoyed a 35-year career as a graphic designer in Colorado, Texas, and Oklahoma.
Patricia returned to fine art full-time, working in charcoal, pastel, oil, and acrylic. She enjoys drawing and painting the figure, portraiture, still life, landscapes, streetscapes, and western themes in a representational style. Her technique ranges from very loose and spontaneous to meticulously rendered.
Patricia continues her life-long pursuit of knowledge, studying with Leslie Lienau, Mike Wimmer, Glen Thomas, Huihan Liu, Clive Tyler, Jude Tolar, Greg Stone, Daniel Keys, Jeremy Lipking, Susan Lyon, Michael Bergt, Kim English, Michelle Dunaway, Natasha Isenhour, Derek Penix, Dan Robinson, Lance Hunter, Dale Martin, and Sarah Sedwick.
Patricia currently teaches classes and workshops in graphite, charcoal and soft pastels for beginning to advanced students. She founded a fine art school in Enid, OK, where she taught students ages 7 to 90. She has done portrait, still life and landscape demonstrations in pastel and charcoal for several arts associations in Oklahoma, and donates artwork and her time to select charitable organizations. Patricia self-produced a 4-part video portrait demonstration in soft pastel for the Oklahoma Pastel Society.
Patricia has participated in many exhibits and won numerous awards for her artwork in pastels, oil and graphite/charcoal. Recent awards include Finalist of the August 2025 PleinAir Salon Art Competition; First Place, Oil category, and First Place, Dry Media category, Bartlesville Art Association Art Show & Sale; Best Associate Award, Women Artists of the West 53rd National Juried Exhibition, 2023.
