Tulsa Artists’ Guild (TAG) was established in 1933. The Guild provides opportunities for local artists to show their works, enjoy fellowship and provides support to local charities and other organizations. TAG represents all artistic backgrounds: acrylics, jewelry, mixed media, oils, pastels, photography, pottery, sculpture, watercolor, and wood turning. Since our inception many of the artists have achieved local, national and international name recognition.
TAG presently holds at least one show per year, often two. We organize trips to museums and other events of interest to members. Meetings are held September through May, and members are required to attend at least two meetings each year to remain active and participate in the shows.
TAG requires that prospective new members be sponsored by a member of the Guild, attend a meeting prior to their induction process, and submit 4-6 current pieces of their work to be juried by the existing members.
