Oklahoma native, Lois Scharrer, has pursued an art education from elementary school through college courses and workshops with nationally known artists. She considers instruction, inspiration and painting, painting, painting the best combination for fulfilling growth. Lois has lived and traveled in several states and foreign countries with many colorful locations and a rich variety of humanity providing inspirational subjects for her work. Painting with Whiteside Portrait Group with live models is an opportunity to enjoy a favorite subject....capturing the stories told on people's faces.
Lois is a Fine Artist who has served as TAG's Treasurer for many years.
