Marilyn Golla-Gass - Fine Artist

Bio:
Whether in a figure, landscape or purely abstract work, Marilyn's use of color and bold shapes bring an exciting dimension to her work. Images from the hills and mountainous area of her childhood, as well as from her extensive travels often form a theme for her art. She has exhibited in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Oklahoma where she now resides, as well as in Lausanne, Switzerland and Graz, Austria. Her work is included in collections in the USA, Canada and Wales.
Artist Statement:
"I have always been fascinated by the interplay of color and light. Watercolor and semi-transparent collage materials and now Encaustic paintings form a natural extension through which I try to express the vibrancy and depth of an image."
